SM1 – San Marco Overview
Have you just arrived in Venice and the historical city centre is still an enigma for you? Choose a short introduction tour which will introduce you to the venetian toponymy (place names). The walk will lead you through “calli” and “campi” looking for precious monuments such as the Theatre la Fenice and the peculiar snail shape architecture of the Bovolo Staircase. The walk will start from Campo San Luca, by the central flagpole and end near Piazza San Marco.
