The huge Palace Rezzonico is facing the Grand Canal, dwelling of an ancient Venetian noble family first and then bought by the powerful Rezzonico family.
The visit will let you admire the architecture above all the house as well as the remarkable main floor, where there are exposed pieces of art and decors flaunting the richness of the owner. On the second floor you will be received in the “portego” of paintings, with canvases by Canaletto, the room dedicated to the everyday life painting by Longhi and the renowned frescos by Giandomenico Tiepolo where we could ponder on the meaning of “new World”.
