CT2 – Castello Insider
This proposal will start from Campo San Zaccaria, in front of the church of the same name. Castello is a very extended district and this walk will let you visit the inner part of it. You will admire majestic religious and representation seats of foreign communities. Let yourself get lost among narrow alleys and open breath-taking spaces, until you reach one of the hearts of Venice with its imposing Arsenale. This is the naval industry cornerstone of the Republic of Venice. Upon your passage the famous stone lions will appear to your eyes, shielding symbolically its secrets. The walk will end by one of the green areas of the lagoon city, where there is the International Biennale of Art.
